Cocolife- Part 2

Hello everyone who commented on my blog about Cocolife!!!

Thank you for commenting and sharing your experience.

As what I have written on the comment section, i guess the company (and the product) itself is not a scam. It is the people who run the branch office on the malls. They use the tactics that looks like a scam…they push you to buy something that is not even explained fully and as the client you weren’t able to think about it because they would say that the promo is good for that day only.

A good friend of my husband introduced us to a group that is mentored by Bo Sanchez. As we go and attend the seminars, I noticed that it is the best group that teaches us about investments. It teaches us about the company and the product before we can invest. And you know what? Cocolife is part of their affiliated company. I haven’t gone to the seminar about Cocolife but I would love to attend. Since, I have questions about their products and also to let them know the way their agents do when approaching and selling their products. Don’t worry guys, i will ask them what everyone of us is worrying about.

As soon as I finished the Cocolife seminar, i will post it here so everyone can be assured that (hopefully) it is not a scam.

Thank you all guys!

    • Hi Hydie, what I know is you can cancel your policy within 15 days (please read previous posts from others to be sure) from the day you pay. Otherwise, you may only get a cash value of what you paid for. I suggest you read the policy, if you have it already. Or call the Cocolife customer service and ask them what you should do to cancel it.
That is what I am concerned about, pressuring the client to get them to buy the product. Those agents should learn how to market properly.

      • yan din po concern k, ngpunta po ako ng mall nd ung nngyri po s inyo ay nangyari din s akin, nglit p nga po ksma k dhl sbi nila they wil only discuss it 4 30min, nd sbi nio nga po ung mga gnitong investment ay hnd minamadali..i payed the initial payment 8k tru atm..gus2 k sna icancel kc gus2 k muna pgicpn..nd have my options kc mdmi nman pong ibng insurance company..

    • Hi there,

Read the prev posts for more details, but basically, what you need to do in a concise manner are these:

      1. Write the cancelation letter and submit to the branch.
      2. Instruct the branch to cancel the (pending transaction) to your bank. Otherwise, if they already got the money, you will need to file a dispute.

Basically that’s it. You are entitled for FULL refund.

      3. Worse comes to worst that they refuse to give you your refund. Contact the insurance commission, and they will contact and mandate the head branch of coco life for quick refund processing. 🙂

Please help me decide..

  3. Hello, @jobrosario. Ang sabi kasi mismo nung agent na nang-engganyo sa sister ko about this insurance, 30-40 days pa daw yung process for the cancellation. And you said earlier na may chance lang kami na mai-refund yung pera within 15 days. What if, kung hindi iprocess nung agent yung cancellation letter namin? Thank you in advance for the response.

    • You have to cancel it within 15 days from the time you have paid. And what the agent told you about 30-40 days, that would take them (their office) to process it. So probably, you just have to wait. Make sure if you filed the cancellation- that you have the receiving copy and duly signed by the person and of course, the date it was received. If they can write their agent code, better. In that case, you have something with you as evidence.
